Ushuaïa Ibiza guide: timings, rules, residencies and what to expect
Ushuaïa is the place for Ibiza's biggest mainstream names, in daylight, around a hotel pool. It works differently from a nightclub: the party ends at 23:00, the rules at the door are strict, and there's no coming back in once you leave. This guide covers what you need to know before your first visit.
What Ushuaïa is
Ushuaïa is an open-air club inside the Ushuaïa hotel in Playa d'en Bossa, with a capacity of 7,866. The stage is festival-sized, and the show includes dancers, ice cannons and a lot of pyrotechnics. Ibiza Spotlight notes that hotel guests can watch from their balconies. The music is mainly mainstream electronic, with the occasional underground party. It's run by The Night League, which also operates Hï across the road and UNVRS.

Timings: arrive early, finish at 23:00
Most events run from 17:00 to 23:00, and ANTS on Saturdays starts at 15:00. The club recommends arriving before 19:00, and times can change by event, so check your date. Because it ends at 23:00, most people treat Ushuaïa as the first half of the night and head to Hï or another club afterwards.
The rules worth knowing
- 18+ only, with original ID: national ID card or passport for EU citizens, passport for everyone else. No photocopies, photos or driving licences.
- No flip-flops, tank tops, swimwear, bare torsos, football or basketball shirts, or team merchandise.
- Nothing bigger than a standard handbag. There are no lockers or cloakroom.
- No re-entry: leave and you need a new ticket.
- No outside food or drink, and no professional cameras, drones or selfie sticks.

Getting there, prices and tables
Ushuaïa is on the Platja d'en Bossa road, opposite Hï, with a taxi rank next to the venue and a large paid car park. From San Antonio, Discobus line 3B stops at Ushuaïa and Hï. Advance tickets are cheaper than at the door; aggregators listed headline Saturdays at around €80–130 in 2026, and the 2026 closing started from €50. Drinks packs are sold in advance (five drinks for €99.99 in 2026). VIP tables include entry, valet, taxes and bottles up to the booking value; food and shisha are extra.
The 2026 season ran from 26 April to the ANTS closing on 10 October. The 2027 line-up will be announced over the winter.
How to plan the day
Think of Ushuaïa as an afternoon-into-evening plan. Eat before you go, because outside food isn't allowed. Arrive by 19:00 so you don't miss the build-up, with a small bag and your original ID. Decide in advance where you're going after 23:00: Hï is directly across the road, and it's the most common next stop. If you're staying in San Antonio, the Discobus 3B gets you there and back. If you're a group, compare a VIP table with buying tickets plus drinks packs: the table includes entry, valet and bottles up to the booking value, which makes the maths simpler. And if it's your first time, pick the residency that matches your taste, because a Swedish House Mafia Sunday and an ANTS Saturday are very different days.
Who Ushuaïa suits
Ushuaïa is for people who want the biggest names in a festival-style setting, in daylight, with a clear finish time. It's less suited to anyone looking for an underground, after-dark night; for that, DC10 or the Club Room at Hï are closer to the mark. If you're staying at the hotel, Ibiza Spotlight points out you can watch the show from your balcony or garden.
