UNVRS Ibiza guide: the old Privilege, the residencies and how to get there

If you search for Privilege Ibiza today, you'll end up here. The building in San Rafael that held the record for the world's biggest club reopened in 2025 as UNVRS, and in its first full year DJ Mag readers voted it the best club on the planet. This guide explains what it is, who played in 2026, how to get there and how to make the most of a night inside.

Ku, Privilege and now UNVRS

The story starts in 1979 with Ku, the open-air club that defined Ibiza in the 80s. In 1995 it became Privilege, which entered the Guinness records as the largest nightclub in the world. Privilege closed during COVID-19 and never reopened. The Night League, the group behind Ushuaïa and Hï, rebuilt it and opened UNVRS on 30 May 2025, calling it the world's first hyper-club. In April 2026 it topped the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs.

How big is it?

There's no confirmed figure. Time Out and DJ Mag have quoted 10,000, a 2024 projection spoke of 15,000, DJ Mag mentioned 20,000 in January 2026 and another listing says 4,000. What everyone agrees on is that it's enormous, and that the production is built to fill it.

The season closed on 10 October 2026 with The Martinez Brothers, Dennis Cruz, East End Dubs and Mochakk. The opening date depends on the source: 26 April in closing-party round-ups, while one ticket site spoke of a soft opening on 24 April and an opening on 1 May.

Getting there

UNVRS is in San Rafael, in the middle of the island, close to Amnesia. In 2026 ticket holders had a free shuttle from Playa d'en Bossa and from San Antonio bus station, and Discobus lines 3 and 3B also served the area. Taxis at closing are scarce, so the shuttle is worth planning around. Check where it picks up for your date when you buy.

Prices, tables and tips

As a market reference for 2026, aggregators listed headline Saturdays at around €80–130, and a VIP table for eight at €6,000–12,000. There's no strict published dress code: dress for a big, hot club and bring photo ID (18+). Ibiza Spotlight's best tip for first-timers is simple: don't stand on the stairs, go down to the dancefloor. With a room this size, agree a meeting point with your group early in the night, and if you're a big group, a table gives you a fixed base.

The 2027 residencies will be announced over the winter. In 2026, Carl Cox's return was confirmed in January and most of the week was in place by spring.

Quick checklist for a UNVRS night

  • Pick the night by the headliner: Carl Cox on a Sunday and Anyma on a Tuesday are very different experiences.
  • Buy early. The big residencies sell out, and prices tend to rise as the date gets closer.
  • Check the shuttle stop and times for your date before you leave the hotel.
  • Agree a meeting point with your group as soon as you're in.
  • Head down to the dancefloor rather than watching from the stairs.
  • Bring photo ID and keep your bag small.
