Playa Soleil guide: the beach restaurant that turns into a club

Playa d'en Bossa is known for Hï and Ushuaïa, but some of its parties happen with your feet nearly in the sand. Playa Soleil is a beachfront restaurant that turns into a club on selected days. Here's how it works and what the 2026 season looked like.

The new Bora Bora

Ibiza Spotlight describes Playa Soleil as a high-end restaurant seven days a week that becomes a club on selected nights, and presents it as the modern successor to Bora Bora, the old beach bar of Playa d'en Bossa. If you're searching for Bora Bora Ibiza, this is the place that inherited its role on the beach.

The season opened in April, with the Keep On Dancing after-party on 28 April closing the opening week. There were also one-offs, like UTOPIA on 12 June and FUEGO on 30 August, which was €15 early and €25 general. Listed hours vary by party; Crême de Crême appeared as both 21:00–05:00 and 17:00–04:00 in different listings.

Dress code and rules

Even though it's on the beach, the party dress code is elegant. Event rules published for 2026 ban swimwear, sports team merchandise, backpacks, bare torsos and vests for men. Events are 18+, there's no re-entry once you leave, and line-ups and set times can change on the day.

Getting there

Playa Soleil is on the beach in Playa d'en Bossa. From Ibiza Town it's about a 10-minute taxi ride, roughly €15 according to a ticket platform's guide. If you're staying in Playa d'en Bossa, you can walk along the beach, and Hï and Ushuaïa are on the same strip if you want to continue the night.

Who Playa Soleil suits

Playa Soleil suits people who want to dance outdoors by the sea, with a house and tech house soundtrack and a dressier crowd than a typical beach bar. It works well as an early start before a club night in Playa d'en Bossa, or as a long day-into-night session on its own, as Sunwaves did on Wednesdays.

Quick tips

  • Buy early tickets where available; they're the cheapest.
  • Dress smart: no swimwear or vests, even on the beach.
  • Leave the backpack at the hotel.
  • Check the hours on your ticket, as they vary by party.

Sunwaves: the long Wednesday

Of all the 2026 parties, Sunwaves on Wednesdays was the marathon. One listing gave it a 16:00 to 06:00 window, which means a full afternoon by the sea followed by the whole night. It ran from 17 June to 7 October, the last party date we found for the season. If you like long sessions, it's the one to look out for when the 2027 calendar appears.

Combining it with the rest of Playa d'en Bossa

Because Playa Soleil is on the same strip as Ushuaïa, Hï and SWAG, it's easy to fit into a bigger plan. An early evening at Playa Soleil can lead into a night at Hï, or you can treat a Playa Soleil party as the whole night. Either way, you're never more than a short walk or taxi from the next stop. For 2027, we'll add the new party calendar to our Playa Soleil page as soon as it's published.

Remember to bring ID for the door: all party nights are 18+.
