Cova Santa guide: Woomoon, the cave club and the hillside terrace

Cova Santa is hard to put in one box. It's a restaurant, a cocktail bar, a small club in a cave and an open-air stage on a hillside, all in one place near San José. The parties start in the afternoon and often end at dawn. This guide explains how it works, what the 2026 season looked like and how to plan a visit.

The place

Cova Santa sits on a mountainside among pine-covered hills in San José, with open views over the Ibiza countryside. It's owned by the Amnesia group and named after the cave beneath it. There's a small club downstairs, an open-air dancefloor and an outdoor stage, and the restaurant and terrace connect straight onto the dancefloor. The focus, in its own words, is gastronomy, mixology and world-class events.

The parties

Cova Santa is known for theatrical parties with audience participation, and Ibiza Spotlight notes that they draw a wide range of ages. Woomoon is the best known: in 2026 it celebrated its tenth anniversary under the concept 'Renaissance: Art Is Back'. Here's what else was on in 2026.

What it costs

Prices vary by party and by how early you arrive. As a reference, the 2026 closing on 9 October had early entry at €40 (before 18:00), general entry at €70 and VIP at €120; the VIP included terrace access, fast entry and a private bar in the premium area. Tables on the terrace or in the club were also offered (La Voz de Ibiza). Arriving early is the simplest way to save.

Getting there and what to bring

Cova Santa is on the hillside near San José, outside town. Come by taxi and arrange your return before you go in, especially on long nights that finish at 06:00. There's no published dress code; the parties invite participation, so come ready to join in. Entry is 18+ with photo ID.

Who Cova Santa suits

Cova Santa suits people who want the whole evening in one place: dinner, a cocktail at sunset and a party that builds into the night, in a natural setting rather than a club box. It's a good choice for mixed-age groups and for anyone who enjoys performance and theatre as part of a party. If you want a pure DJ night in a dark room, Amnesia, run by the same group, is the more classic option.

When to go

The 2026 season ran from 2 May to the closing on 9 October, so Cova Santa is now closed until 2027. Expect a similar pattern next year: opening in spring, weekly residencies through summer and a closing in early October. We'll add the 2027 dates to our Cova Santa page as they're confirmed.

Quick tips

  • Arrive early: the early-entry price is the cheapest, and the light at sunset is the best part of the hillside.
  • Book dinner if you want to start at the restaurant and stay for the party.
  • Choose the party carefully: Woomoon's theatrical style is very different from a DJ residency.
  • Arrange your taxi home in advance.
  • Bring a layer for later; part of the venue is open-air.

If it's your first time, a Woomoon date is the best introduction to what makes Cova Santa different from a standard club night. Bring friends who are happy to take part, because the performers do involve the crowd.
